The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, June 25 reveals Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will accuse Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) of trying to sabotage her job.
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will uncover some unsettling information. Plus, Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will enjoy a little friendly competition.
Y&R spoilers tease Adam will leave a message for his father, saying he needs to get in touch with him, it’s important. Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will walk into his office and he’ll say he thinks Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is ignoring his messages.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Surround An Enemy Before Going In For The Kill
“Someone is making some big moves in Genoa City,” he’ll tell her. “I’m afraid that someone is Aristotle Dumas.” They’ll head to Society and Chelsea will ask what’s going on. “Someone’s been buying up real estate in downtown Genoa City,” Adam will reply. “And that same holding company is buying up condos in the same area.”
Adam will add it’s Arabesque, owned by Aristotle Dumas, which is why he’s trying to get a hold of his dad. Chelsea will say maybe there’s no cell service at the chateau. “Maybe Dumas doesn’t want them to know what he’s up to while they’re away.”
Chelsea will add that it sounds like he’s buying up the properties surrounding the Abbotts, Winters and Newman’s companies. “And surrounding is something you do to an enemy, before you go in for the kill,” Adam will point out.
Meanwhile, Lily will toss and turn in her bed, flashing back to the argument she had months earlier with Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), about his father. Needless to say, Lily won’t be able to sleep. So, she’ll put on a robe, head out of her bedroom, and into the train car.
She’ll run into Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) and he’ll ask how her talk went with Cane. She’ll say Devon Winters (Bryton James) was right, he wants her back. “The sooner I am away from Cane, the better.” Then Damian will look for some playing cards and he’ll find a collection of knives instead. Damian will hold one and say it’s beautiful.
He’ll put the knife away and find the deck of cards. Damian will quip that he thought he’d be playing solitaire. So, he’ll ask Lily if she wants to play Crazy Eights. “What are we five?” Lily will ask. So, they’ll settle on poker instead. Lily will win every hand, so they’ll switch to Go Fish and Damian will end up ahead.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Lily Asks Damian If He Was Hustling Her
“Are you kidding, were you hustling me?” Lily will say, adding he was terrible at poker. “Yet I was the master of Go Fish,” he’ll reply. Damian will ask if she wants to stick around to watch the sun rise. “I would love to, but I think I’m going to fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow,” she’ll reply.
In France, Amanda will ask Cane how his chat with Victor went. He’ll say he offered to buy Chancellor and The Mustache wasn’t exactly receptive. Amanda will admit it’s a relief not having to keep his Aristotle Dumas secret anymore. “That identity served its purpose,” he’ll reply.
Then he’ll say Devon is encouraging Lily to leave tomorrow. But he’ll look up at the sky and say a big storm is coming and hopefully it’ll keep her at the chateau. Talk will turn back to Chancellor and Cane will say he’s committed to acquiring it, by any means necessary. He’ll say Victor has underestimated him.
Phyllis will appear and say she’d never do that. Amanda will ask why she’s eavesdropping. “Can we talk?” Phyllis will ask Cane. And he’ll give her 10 minutes to make her pitch. Phyllis will tell him the power dynamic has shifted. “I’m offering my expertise so you have help navigating through the land mines, so you can reintegrate into Genoa City.”
But Cane will say he has Amanda for that. And a panicked Phyllis will reply that sure, he has Amanda for his legal issues. Maybe he could make her an executive. Then she’ll say she knows he wants Chancellor. So, Cane will ask how she would help him get it. “This is about what’s best for Chancellor, and since I am the best, it’s me,” Phyllis will reply.
But Cane will tell her if he was interested in purchasing Chancellor, it would be with a very different end game in mind. “What is your end game?” Phyllis will ask. Then she’ll say she has intel to help him make the company he wants his. “Maybe there is a place for you in my organization,” Cane will reply, and leave.
Finally, Phyllis will thank Amanda. “What the hell is wrong with you?” she’ll reply. Phyllis will ask what she’s talking about, she’s just trying to get a job. “By undermining mine?” Amanda will ask her. “Do you ever think about anyone, other than yourself?”
